HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Transmissions Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the analysis and management of USAFCENT programs supporting Air Force tactical and fixed HF, VHF, UHF, AM, FM, and single-side band transceiver systems and similar commercial systems; antenna theory; mass notification public address systems, and personal wireless communications systems.
Perform daily analyses for life-cycle management.
Provide expertise on system modernization project management for microwave systems, microwave transmission systems, antenna systems, and personal wireless communications systems (includes land mobile radios, cellphones, satellite phones, pagers, hand-held two-way radios). Provide analysis of the deployment and operation of these systems into the USCENTCOM AOR to include assistance with management of multiple high value projects and provide project management products by target deadlines.
Provide support for transmission issues at re-alignment locations in the USCENTCOM AOR.
Provide detailed design configuration, integration, and timeline products to USAFCENT/A6.
Assist in the analysis and management of USAFCENT programs supporting Air Force Trunked Land Mobile Radio, conventional Land Mobile Radio, Microwave line of site, and mass notification public address systems.
Assist with management of teams at different organizational levels to include resolving conflicts, communicating process and procedures, and enhancing understanding radio and wireless communication systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical communications field and four years’ experience in relevant area or equivalent eight years’ experience with the technical and analytical aspects associated with management, configuration, and operation of fixed and mobile HF/VF/UHF communications equipment. (Following KSA experience time requirements can be concurrent with this KSA time requirement).
Minimum of two years’ experience with Federal Acquisitions and Contracting.
Minimum of two years’ experience with program management at the numbered AF/Component Command Equivalent Staff level or higher.
Minimum of one year experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport
Candidate must possess Secret Clearance
