Description To successfully coordinate (from start to completion) on demand flights after the point of sale by the Sales department. This is a regulated, non-supervisory position. This position will also provide relief coverage at the Flight Control Agent (dispatch) desk. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and/or Administrative Manager of Flight Operations Main point-of contact for on-demand sales calls and liaison between Sales, Customer, Flight Scheduling, Crew Scheduling and Flight Control when a flight is sold Maintain professional and effective communications with our Customers Coordinate with Sales to ensure the tools are in place to be able to do the flight through coordination with Flight Control, Crew Scheduling and Flight Scheduling Responsible for obtaining concise and complete information concerning the flight to be operated and conveying it to Flight Control, Crew Scheduling, Flight Scheduling, Load Control and Flight Operations Administration in a clear, concise manner Ensuring that Flight Control, Crew Scheduling and Flight Scheduling have all of the information they require so they can determine if the flight can operate successfully within company and FAA parameters Main point-of-contact for on demand customers once the flight is sold Dissemination of new information as it occurs to Flight Scheduling, Crew Scheduling and Flight Control to ensure required parties have current information Ensure that all ground handling services (including but not limited to air stairs, deicing, fueling, communication services for transmission of flight paperwork, and any other required tools, etc. are available at the location(s) for on-demand and scheduled flights) and scheduled to accommodate NAC s arrival. Ensure that this information is relayed to Flight Control for their use and their communication to the Flight Crewmembers as necessary. Communicate with Load Control as required to obtain necessary information The ability to train and remain current as a relief Flight Control Agent in accordance with the job description entitled Flight Control Agent Must exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships Must support company and departmental goals, policies and procedures Regular attendance is required Accuracy and attention to detail is required Timeliness in meeting work deadlines and demands is required to ensure a smooth work flow between other work groups in the department Requirements High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Three years minimum with five years preferred airline operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to prepare and complete forms effectively and collate data and information. Ability to effectively present this information both orally and written to the positions that this job supports, as well as to Flight Operations Administration. Must have excellent telephone communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.
