          Title: Sterile Processing Tech II
          Location: AK-Palmer (Anchorage region)
          The Sterile Processing Technician II cleans, sterilizes, packages, maintains, inventories, and assists with the ordering of surgical equipment and supplies for the surgical and procedural functions atMat-SuRegionalMedicalCenter. The Sterile Processing Technician II assists with the handling of endoscopic equipment during procedures and its cleaning and maintenance. The Sterile Processing Technician II also performs a variety of support tasks such as patient scheduling, clerical and telephone support, cleaning, pulling surgical cases, and other support tasks as assigned. These duties are performed in accordance with the policies and procedures ofMat-SuRegionalMedicalCenterand regulatory agency standards.

          Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

          Experience: 2 years verifiable experience in sterile processing in a hospital or surgical environment. Certfication preferred.
          Primary Locaiton: AK-Palmer (Anchorage region)
