          Job Description THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARD

          POSITION SUMMARY:
          Has the responsibility for the management of project operations as they relate to the business aspects of the contract which include contract/subcontract administration, procurement, and formal company/customer contract interfaces. Responsible for all interpretations of the contract section of the Proposal, negotiations, and contract amendments. Is the initial point of contact for all contractual communications with the customer, and Corporate Legal Department and is responsible for all oral and written representation of the Corporation. Manages routine proposals and contracts

          MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

          1.Ensures that proposal plans and approaches of the Administrative Volume of a proposal meet the contractual requirements of the RFP, and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
          2.Coordinates with the Cost Estimator to define cost formulations and summaries; coordinates in developing management review presentations; coordinates final management approval and signature of the offer; validates the cost volume, contents support data, volume control, distribution, and audit support.
          3.Leads customer negotiations; makes recommendation to management to execute contractual documents; warranties assurance to the customer all particulars in connection with a contract.
          4.Is responsible for post-award communications with the customer contract personnel on all contract matters.
          5.Establishes and implements procedures for contract correspondence and documentation, contract modification, and negotiation and monitors contract performance.
          6.Advises Project Manager on all matters pertaining to contract and subcontract management.
          7.Defines company and subcontractor obligations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
          8.Acts as focal point between company and Government for contract scheduling, procurements and related administrative actions.
          9.Performs other duties and assignments as required.

          MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
          Personal computer, printer, calculator, FAX machine, copy machine and other general office equipment.

          WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
          Work is in a general office environment.

          PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
          Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical dangers and chemical or hazardous agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published work rules.

          MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
          Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
          Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Industrial Management or a related discipline or equivalent
          experience in contracts or financial management and administration of logistical functions on programs of similar size and
          complexity.

          Experience:
          Eight years related experience to include a minimum of 3 years general experience providing a good basis or general knowledge of the principles of organization, management and administration; and 5 years specialized experience in operating administrative or managerial activities in a type of work for a combination of logistical functions directly related to industrial operation.
          Clearance Level Required at Start Date Secret
